Vorteks Hive Plot View

The Hive Plot View is a node-edge diagram. Each axis represents a field. Each node on the axis represents a value in the field, and each line represents a correlation between the two or more axis. A hive plot is considered an improvement to Force-directed network drawing especially when it comes to analyzing big data. Nodes are arranged along three or more axes and edges between nodes are drawn as Bezier curves, which are based on the parametric equations of a curve.

The size of the node provides information on the the number of documents which contain each value and the sphere’s colorations provides additional detail to the View.
